Konoba Katara in Brela

The best konoba in Brela with mutch of fresh mountain air to cool off. Yet still not far from Brela center, by car that is. Or you just make an reservation and make use of their pickup service. I almost would give them just one star so less people would croud the place. But that would not be fair, would it!? I highly reconmend this place for it's sight and good food. Almost forgot, the frendly owners two. PS. MAKE RESERVATIONS JUS TO BE SURE YOU GET THE BEST SEAT (OR ANY SEAT).

Meat is perfect, fish menu is not something and that's why 4.View, ambience and staff for 10.Prices, as seen, are more than good.

It‘s all about expectations and ours have been good croation food and nice sea view. Sea view indeed top, however food quality below and prices above the average in Brela. All in all unfortunately a tourist pitfall. Recommend to visit the place only for the view / sunset.

Food is amazing. We have tried their speciality 'peka' which was very good. Second night we had mixed grill and the food was once again very good. The location of this restaurant is breathtaking. The view over the ocean, the sunset, it really is so beautiful. But the best thing may be the service. Waitor are very kind, positive and social and it doesn't matter if the food takes a bit or if the taxi has been delayed. They are so fun to talk to and are a big reason we are recommending this place to everyone.

Very nice restaurant in the mountains of Brela, about 45 minutes walk from the port. However, the restaurant offers a free taxi service. Well worth a visit in any case. The food is delicious, the staff friendly and the most beautiful view over the bay of Brela.

Very nicely located restaurant, accessible by bus after booking a table. Same access a bit difficult because high and sometimes two cars can not fit, parking capacious. Food very good, portions quite large. Good service, using many languages, working in traditional Croatian outfits. Additionally on Wednesdays and Fridays (I do not know if on other days also) live music.The view deserves a separate paragraph. The sun setting behind the mountains shimmers in the Adriatic Sea and the whole is accented by flowers and trees on the large terrace. Beautifully!It's the perfect place for a romantic dinner.

Great view, food average, mild rainfall. Qatar did not look at even 5% of the price, they let us eat in the rain and carry the alternative rooms. At least 30 guests were eating food with the addition of rainwater.

Ate here for the first time and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, would recommend this restaurant to you all. The food is very tasty, staff are friendly and a fantastic atmosphere

Great view and food, very nice personel. It's worth to make a reservation, usually it's full in the evening. Free taxi from the village and back to your accomodation is also awailable.

Konoba Katara is a really nice restaurant located in an old local house with a fantastic view. The restaurant is outside of Brela, but they are offering a free taxi service, which worked great. They have good local food. I had grilled meat which was almost perfect. If you are staying in Brela Konoba Katara is definetely one of the better choices!

Everything was great, food, service and ambience

Food is ok. But in a crowded evening, they are not able to deliver the order in under 1,5 hours. That is unacceptable when you have kids. They should inform you about that before ordering.

The ambiance is beautiful! The food is great, the staff too. I like to stop by every time I’m around. 😊

The Konoba Katara is a nice restaurant above the Magistrala with a beautiful view of the sea. There is a shuttle that takes you up and back to the apartment which is really great because you don't need a car to get there. We were really warmly welcomed. The waiters and waitresses are dressed in traditional costumes.We ordered a 'peka' with octopus and potatoes the day before.Peka is a traditional dish with meat, fish or seafood which is cooked very slowly on kogle.It tasted really fantastic so we were there 2 more times during our visit to Brela. Both the meat and the fish were delicious.The staff is very friendly and fond of children.We can only give 5 out of 5 stars.

This restaurant is located in the mountains. The beaches are advertising this restaurant. You call and you come and pick up the cars of this restaurant absolutely free. The staff is as always friendly. Very beautiful sea view. Very tasty and not expensive❤️

We want there with friends and 2 little kids on the night when they had live music. The atmosphere was amaizing. The food was good and priced corectlly but we had better down in the town of Brela. However, the atmoatmosp was so good and we all had so much fun that we went back there. The service was very nice. It is true that they are show on a busy night but we did not mind waiting as we had so much fun. They also gave us some free homemade cherry Brandy that was super delicious. Definitely recommend the place!

Konoba Katata is a restaurant with typical foods from that region of Croatia. The atmosphere is well characterized and the spatiality of the place allows you to enjoy the wonderful landscape. The attention, the food and the place are fantastic.

A restaurant like with local dishes. Waiting time for ordered squid 1h. Cook what could it with peppers ..... the same roll and in addition burnt, calamari brak.Na beach was assured of a delicious PEKA dish and again muka 3.5h expectation. Great price from 93 kun beer 22 kunas. There is no menu in Polish .Plus is a free Taxi access, nice service.

Very tasty, nice service. Family business. You can communicate in german, english and croatian. There is a free pick up and bring service that clarifies the problem with the car itself and also the dad can drink something. Really good and recommendable. Very nice view 🏆🇭🇷

Great ambient,kind staff. You can tell by the looks of the food that it is all organic and homemade ,and everything tastes delicious,and the amazing view from the restaurants makes everything feel better

The food was top quality last year, this year you should change your cook first. Work on the ingredients and train the service properly. Hopefully better next year. Covid is likely to affect us all.
